You likely saw yourself as a fully inflated balloon....but now you see yourself as a diminishing balloon with more and more sagging with the slow leak speeding up and soon all the air will be gone.

You want to get to be able to see your self balloon back to fully inflated....to the max....no sagging. and you go all the way and end with a pop.

Meantime, continue life with a sharp alert mind.. few of the usual nagging aches and pains...lots of old time energy and still plenty of stamina... and

Fight For Keeping A Big Play Pen

Most people wind up in a rest home because they become inactive.

Force yourself to stay active in one size bigger play pen and a little uncomfortable..

......able to walk half way around the block..? Expand it a little further every day....get the limitations removed by expanding them just beyond "comfortable". Soon you will not have theses limitations. Regain and reestablish your limitations.

Get a pedometer and give yourself a goal of 10,000 steps a day........research strength training...means GAINING new muscle that will change your life no matter what age. It is a little work, a little effort but will do more to change your health then anything I can suggest.

In addition and even more important.....
Look at learning methods to handle and dissipate stress. Absolutely crucial to the staying out of the rest home project.

To have the instructions to do all this to "keep fit" is a book....
Take that much to explain it....
Simple Route:
Change your diet to what your body was designed for...nothing else... we refer to this for simple understanding as the caveman diet actually not a diet at all, just a menu of natural food, that your ancestors ate and you can eat all you want, whenever you want.
There is more....but you get the idea... none of this works -unless you do....
No reason to EVER be in a rest home when you can easily handle a bigger world. You can recoup....small does not have to stay small.....expand your life and your world.....you CAN gain back.....

The Third Hazard, They Think They Fix, Putting You In A Rest Home.

They refer to it as Osteoporosis, but it really is just loosing or hollowing out your bones by using up the calcium. This is part of the modern man diet problem......

This is how my research shows is the real problem..... It is your body wants to operate as slightly alkaline or right at neutral, in order to thrive and survive intruders etc. The problem is processed and man made, stored and cooked foods turn your body heavily acidic.

For example, raw tomatoes are alkaline, canned tomatoes are acidic.
Bacteria and illness take over when your body becomes overly acidic so your body works hard to stay alkaline.

As you get older your diet and activity wind up making your body more acidic and in self defense your body gets the alkaline one place....your bones.\

Learn to eat right (and more un-processed and raw) and keep your body alkaline. Your bones will stay normal and you may even put some calcium back. If you fall, your chances of bone breakage will be no greater then a younger person.

They now have a teaching exercise on learning automatic balancing improvement and cut falls in seniors as much as 80%.
We will be running more on this and there are exercises you can do to learn to do alone at home to automatically recoup when starting to fall....
Actually, you been doing this all your life...this just hones it up...to cut your falls, one of the major incidents often leading, eventually to earlier death, for seniors involved.

My mother in law fell in a rest home and broke her hip. This training of natures anti-falling response may be well worthwhile where ever you are.

This is automatic learned anti-body fall response.. like learning to ride a bike.
.......when fully learned you do not have to think about it...you just stay upright automatically.
